Meridian Health Services is currently seeking a full time Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) to work in the Outpatient Addiction program in Richmond, Indiana. This position will be responsible for the provision of clinical services in order to improve psychosocial functioning.

We work with individuals and their supports with Substance Use Disorders and other life challenges. We are committed to providing individual, person-centered attention to help individuals and families achieve mental, emotional, and physical well-being. The hours for this position is Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Licensed Addiction Counselor Key Responsibilities:

• Provide various therapeutic services that may include individual and group therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy skills, etc.
• Ability to meet individual patient needs
• Comply with company documentation standards
• Maintain appropriate professional behavior and relationships

We are seeking Licensed Addiction Counselor candidates with the following qualities:

• Bachelor’s degree in Indiana license eligible field (Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Addiction Studies) REQUIRED
• Proof of application for the Indiana exam to obtain Temporary Licensure within 60 days of hire at minimum
• Successful attainment of LAC within 120 days of hire
